The
A.G.M was held 11th May
2009 in the Thornton Hunt Inn.
Five parish councillors were present. Cllr. R. Brixton was reelected as Chair
for the year 200912010. Cllr. P. Grainger was elected as Vice Chair.
The financial statement and report was given and approved and adopted. There
were no parishioners present.
The
ordinary parish council meeting was then held.
The lack of a footpath from Thornton Curtis to Wootton A1077 was again
discussed, the parish council only want the white line reinstating to where it
was originally, it was agreed the best way would be to petition North
Lincolnshire Council, Cllr. Grainger will initiate this.
Dog control order, Thornton Curtis was missed out when the orders were put in
place, so
were
several other villages, unfortunately there now appears to be a problem with
dogs in the play area.
The
Community Emergency Plan is progressing well; several villagers have expressed
their willingness to be on the committee although as the parish includes Burnham
a representative from Burnham is needed.
Various
items of correspondence were dealt with.
The
next meeting of Thornton Curtis Parish Council will be held at 8.00pm Monday
13th July 2009 in the Thornton Hunt Inn
Any
members of the parish are very welcome to attend.
