THORNTON CURTIS PARISH COUNCIL

The Parish Council met 2nd March 2009 in the Thornton Hunt Inn.  All seven Parish Councillors were present including Cllr. Brixton the Chair.

The lack of a footpath from Thornton Curtis to Wootton was again of concern, some residents can recall there being a footpath along the A1077, if anyone has any proof that it did exist, please contact Cllr Brixton - 532150.

Responses were to be submitted to the P.C.T. single equality scheme and the Communities & Local Government publicity proposals.

Community Emergency Plan- Cllr Grainger had drafted a letter to residents, this was discussed and suggestions of names put forward for the community emergency committee.

Various items of correspondence were dealt with.

The next meeting of Thornton Curtis Parish Council will be the A.G.M. to be held at 7.30pm on Monday 11th May 2009 in the Thornton Hunt Inn followed immediately by the ordinary Parish Council meeting.
